There are not only daily tableware but also Japanese seasonal ornament such as Hina dolls and armor ornaments, a ceramic room light which produces space warmly.
Please look for goods according to your residence.
An item of the various materials is also besides the pottery; glass, woods, cloth and paper products.
Japanese miscellaneous goods are also sold. There are the tableware, a wrapping cloth, stationery and a card with the design of a cute rabbit. Both are also appreciated by a present with the design of the fun rabbit. There are also goods which took Jakucyu Ito's work in.
We have a snack and a food variously a casual gift. How about Asamiya green tea from Shigaraki, beans jam bun and a raccoon dog cookie for a gift in Shigaraki?

Traditional crafts gallery
A work of the member of Tou-you-kai which inherits tradition of Shigaraki ware is exhibited by "traditional craft work gallery". Carefully selected masterpieces will delight the eye. In addition, it's possible to purchase if there is a work that you liked.

Shigemi Mitoma (Mihou)
Shigarakis' rare master craftsman in large-scale work, Shigemi Mitoma (Mihou), excels in creating large pieces.
Producing large works demands both speed and stamina, and it is a challenging task that requires constant attention to the clay. Many of his smaller pieces display a delicate sensibility, and his dedication to continually exploring captivating forms is remarkable.

From its own products, a porcelain silk-reeling pot produced in the Meiji era is also on display. The silk-reeling pot was used at the Tomioka Silk Mill, which is registered as a World Cultural Heritage site, and was exhibited at the Paris Expo.
